[Haircare] Josie Maran 100% pure Argan oil Light Review

Hi everyone, I am glad that I am doing my first hair product review today! The product is called Josie Maran 100% pure Argan Oil light. This is just a small sample I got from Sephora. Actually, I got one last year, but I gave it to my best friend as a birthday present(because I don't really know how to use it). You can get it on Amazon, Sephora and Josie Maran.com. It has two different size I believe, one is 0.5fl oz which is $16 and the other is 1.7fl oz for $50. The packing is nice and sanitary that contains a dropper. You can get the product easily without making a mess.
Here are the claims of the product:
A featherweight version of the world champion of oils, 100% Pure Argan Oil Light moisturizes deeply and absorbs quickly, leaving a semi-matte finish. Produced by Moroccan women's co-ops, this top-grade Argan Oil is extracted from the nut of the argan tree, then first-cold-pressed to protect its healthy, hydrating properties. Wear it under makeup or instead of makeup, and fear not if your skin is oily. This must-have oil actually reduces sebum production, so it is ideal for all skin types, especially breakout-prone and sensitive.
You can use this product not only on the face, but also on hair and nails. I have used it with my moisturizer from a period of time and it definitely works. It leaves a matte finish, but yet skin felt well moisturized. It doesn't look dry on the skin under makeup as well.
I used it with my hair moisturizer after I wash my hair before bed. I used to get three drops on the moisturizer and then apply it on the hair, but actually a little goes a long way. Now, I just put on two drops on the hair and that's enough.
It treats split ends and make your hair nice and smooth after washing. Some girls I know that had entangled hair troubles will definitely love this. It smooths your hair and makes combing easier.
It doesn't have a unbearable smell. It does makes your hair a little bit oily if you put too much on the hair. But it is not obvious to people.
Even though it is a little bit pricy, I will surely repurchase it if I had a chance. You can use it in a lot of ways and achieve different goals. Highly recommend to everyone!
Love,
Helena Lam

[Makeup-Powder] Maybelline Dream Matte Powder

Hi everyone hope you guys had a nice Valentine's Day yesterday! You know what? I had a snowday yesterday and school was cancelled. I got my boyfriend a T-shirt by Staceyfor Valentine's Day by the way.Anyway, my post today is about a powder I purchased and loved for a long time. It's the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. It's between $8.00 to $9.00 in the drugstore(I think they repackaged it) ang it is 0.32 oz of product in each product. I decided to try this out, because my favorite youtube beauty blogger, Casey Holmes, recommended to everyone in her video. I loved her, she always have amazing looks and accurate makeup reviews. She highly recommend this product and I decided to check out. (I can link her youtube channel down below! Don't forget to check it out!)
It is a pressed powder and very very fine. You don't need to pack on a lot of product to achieve the matte look. I owned my for a year now; I used it everyday, and now it still get a lot of products in there. It's a very good touch up powder that immediately matify your face and refresh your makeup throughout the day. It also comes with a puff and a mirror.
It's got 4 shades, I believe the darkest shade is Honey, which is the medium color(sorry, for darker skin tone girls!) I know Casey repurchase it over and over again. I like this product and I really recommend it as a setting powder and also touch up powder. It definitely worth trying. Ok, now here are the pictures I took. (The picture of me is after I touched up with the powder.)Have a nice weekend everyone!
Love,

[Makeup-Primer] Benefit porefessional makeup primer review

I am sure that most of the Benefit fans would love this product to death! The porefessional is a makeup primer that minimize the appearance of pores, light weight, oil-free, translucent, silky. this comes in a squeeze tube and the packaging is pretty nice and pretty. I can't really say that it minimize my pores, because I don't have a big pore problem. However, it is a great product to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines as well. When you squeeze the product out of the tube, it is skin-like color and it is soft when you rub it in to your skin. As you can see in the pictures, before I rub it in to my skin, my hands are rough with a lot of lines on them. But once I rub in the product, it leaves and smooth and soft surface. It is definitely matte after you apply it on to the skin. I love the feeling of this product. And please trust me, for this product, a little goes a really long way; you don't need a lot to apply on your face. It doesn't smell bad or anything like that.
Since it is winter now, I don't use this product as often. Because I am using a heavier moisturizer and moisturizing bb cream, so this doesn't appear as matte throughout the day. I really like this product and I will definitely repurchase it if I finished it. By the way, it is 30 dollars and you get 22ml which is 0.75 fl oz of product. Now I will attach to some pictures I took with this product. Have a nice day! And I will see you guys later.
Love,
Helena Lam
